This boat, acquired new in 2010 from Marathon Marine Edmonton, was built in Medford, Oregon, USA. It is 22 feet long, all aluminum/steel weld construction, holds 73us gallons (280 litres) of gas, needs only 6 inches of water and my experience shows a top speed of roughly 45-50mph on calm waters. It is powered by a 6.1, 380 HP Chev block, electronic ignition, and a Hamilton 212 turbo impeller. Total running hours, as at Sept 15/17, are 151.2 hrs and my records since 2010, indicate an approximate fuel consumption of 14 liters/hour (3.5 us gal/hr). The boat can also run in salt water (zinced).
The deadrise is 14 degree tapered radius and handles rough river water well and lake waves at lower speeds to smooth out the ride. The two (passenger/driver) air ride adjustable seats absorb shocks to an individual riders preference.
The hull bottom has been upgraded to .250 thickness and with a 2ndkeel plate bottom welded overlay on the main impact area, makes the bottom with overlay 12ft long, ½” thick and 30” wide between the longitudinal box girders. In addition, diamond plate has been welded on bow sides. There is an intake water separation and clean out system (Stomp Grate). There is also a wash down pump system installed.
Lets look at boat storage. The bow has two storage units at the front of the bow and a long box for fish storage (non aerating) or other items if not fish. On the port inside there is a locking glove box with handle and a floor helm enclosed storage area. This storage area has an unused portable potty available, if needed. Two 48” box/bench storage seats (port/starboard) and two Plastic bins w/covers (attached to floor) for extras. My bench storage units hold two electric rail mounted Scotty downrigger units, a 2500lb electric winch system, life jackets, spare boat parts etc. The bench seats can also be used with two connecting braces and extra custom fitted seat pads to create a bed for overnight comfort as required. There is room for a waterproof records box stored on the starboard side fantail. The carpeted storage shelves along the port and starboard sides have rod holders and room for other misc. items such as safety/rescue equipment.
The boat has an over the windshield moorage cover and plus a 22’ over cover for winter storage. The boat is self-draining and requires minimum of regular maintenance given its design. Oil changes, gas line antifreeze (winter storage) and cooling tube (radiator) cleanout were done in 2017 and should be good as the boat was run for only 4.4hrs that year.
A canopy ½ top drop cover is included, complete with side/back panels, and covers an area from the helm to include the bench/storage seats. Also included is a front travel bra.
The trailer is a Guardian aluminum tandem axle, disc brakes both axles with bunks and side guides
The helm has an engine heat exchanger for cooler weather.
The swim board has an attached stainless steel ladder and plus a clip-on ladder that hangs from the side of the boat is available.
Other add-ons include a Lowrance GPS/Sonar system and a rear mounted 9.9hp Nissan Maxum troller with remote steering.
The boat has been used on two rivers, the Peace River and North Saskatchewan in Alberta, and the following lakes Pigeon, Wabamum, Slave Lake in Alberta, plus Okanagon and Osoyoos lakes in BC. Plans for the Skeena River and the Peace & Mckenzie reaches in northern BC are being considered, depending on offers/sale.
Current boat asking price of $56,000 Canadian includes all accessories listed above, in an “as is condition”. Owner is open to offers.
